Data Acquisition - OPC Servers

Explore our options for device connectivity.  TOP Server is Software Toolbox's OPC and native HMI device connectivity software application, powered by industry leading technology from Kepware.  With over 100 device drivers we most likely have you covered.  If there is no device driver for your device, then in most cases, our powerful OmniServer user configurable OPC Server can provide connectivity to your device.  We also have offerings for AB, Omron, Modbus and GE from Ingear and Siemens S5/S7 from IBH.

OPC Applications

We offer a wide range of OPC Applications for data logging, data bridging, redundancy and aggregation.  Our flagship products are our OPC DataHub and OPC lab certified OPC Data Logger for native data logging to SQL, MySQL, Oracle, Access, Text/CSV and ODBC data stores.  The OPC DataHub provides a wide variety of functions (bridging, tunneling, aggregation, web display, etc.) in a single tool and is representative of the breadth of Software Toolbox products as a whole.

OPC Development Tools

Whether it be our Northern Dynamic brand products, Extender.NET, OPCSystems.NET, OPC Data Control, or OPC Web Client we have the tools to help you develop your own OPC Server or Client in Visual Studio 6 (VB6, VC++, etc.) or Visual Studio.NET (2003, 2005, or 2008).

Communications Development Tools

Do you need to add direct device connectivity to your custom application?  We have Active X controls for Allen-Bradley, Eurotherm and Automation Direct PLCs.  We also have .NET components for Allen-Bradley, GE SRTP Ethernet, and Modbus.

Visualization Tools

We have a number of visualization tools that will allow you to build your own graphical displays in Visual Studio and Visual Studio.NET.  We also have components that you can add directly into your existing HMI or SCADA system.
