The new zenOn® 6.20 Editor is thoroughly multiuser-capable. What is new about it is not that it allows for simultaneous operation in run-time – zenOn has long been a market leader in this respect – no, we are talking about simultaneous project creation.

For the first time in the history of HMI / SCADA technology, it is now possible to save projects on a central computer and then edit them simultaneously from different work stations. This allows for a team of development engineers to distribute project work optimally. While one project manager is busy defining variables, another team member is already sketching process images and another colleague is working on function definitions. This functionality is coupled with an intelligent administration system so that there are no overlaps during joint configuration. Each element (variable, image, etc.) that is currently being processed is marked so that no other team member can change the same element at the same time

Automotive:

With its sophisticated network functionality zenOn is designed to meet the complex requirements of automobile industry: With a combination of different operating machines within the production, zenOn gives you a detailed overview of the various parts of the processes, with the vertical integration the data flow to SQL databases, ERP management systems or PPS systems. VBA and COM offer the flexibility of an open system.

Energy:

Years of experience in the energy sector proves zenOn to be fail-safe software. The integrated redundancy maximizes operation and data security and guarantees high system integrity. Due to the unique zenOn network technology and the remote operation / remote maintenance functions, you control your plant independent of its geographic position. Archiving, trends and reports are evaluated within the system and are available at each station.

Machinery construction:

Online language change and a large variety of drivers (even OPC) are a distinct advantage, that is important in machinery construction. The universal systems, from Windows CE - 2000/XP/Server 2003 up to Internet allow you identical process screens - from stand-alone-terminal and handheld-terminals, up to PC and Internet-browser.
